Beads for the 'Pandora' make for a bigger minefield for the purchaser than do the chains. The real deal will set you back a minimum of £25 for a Murano glass single bead and the silver ones costing £20+. These are solid sterling silver and the Murano glass has a solid silver core.

However, again the clones are numerous and descriptions can be at best misleading. For example many of the glass bead portray to be Murano but many have not been properly kiln annealed to give them durability and so break very easily. Many are silver plated so the thin layer of silver wears away in days to leave you with a copper core. The worst are the 'Tibetan Silver' ones which are potentially hazzardous as they contain little silver but are a Zinc/lead/amalagam.
